After all it only was the same model with different grille and hubs, wasn't it ?
It has barely been a week since I saw it for sale on eBay, this time there were many pictures of it and realized that if it had the second Criss Croos type base as well as the one I already owned, it had the first body casting type which is a little scarcer.

Then I thought that perhaps two copies of the same car in the same colour could be a little silly considering their cost, and I offered my first copy forr sale to some collector. He took the night to think about it... Oh what a baneful night. The man was quiet embarassed when he told me he wouldn't buy the model... My stomach relaxed at once !
Well here it is, an early copy, certainly from 1935/36. It's fitted with early Toostsietoy style hubs which were silver plated at the time, first body casting, second base type and first British grille.
This lovely copy is really sound without any fatigue at all.
A little comparison between the two different models shows the difference of casting
To the right the first casting with a quiet curver roof, longer quarter panel and flatter trunk
Bright Light, Big City, is a classic of the blues covered by almost all british bands in the sixties, here's it original version by Jimmy Reed
